Similar to its highly popular pedal counterpart, the SansAmp RBI offers a wide range of sounds from both classic and modern bass amp systems - including those heavy overdriven tones that typically require a complex array of gadgets not even meant for bass originally. The owner's manual includes sample settings like SVT-style, Bassman-style, King's X-style, and Crimson-style to help you get started.
The familiar controls on the SansAmp RBI include Drive for adjusting gain and overdrive, Presence for enhancing upper harmonic content and attack, Blend for mixing the direct instrument signal with the Tube Amplifier Emulation circuitry, and active Bass and Treble controls for boosting or cutting +/-12dB.
What's different about the SansAmp RBI? It now features a dedicated Mid control, an individual Level control for the XLR out to optimize your amp's output in relation to the P.A. system, an Effects Loop, and a Mix 50/50 switch.
