Nordstrand DC5 Dual Coil Pickups

This dual coil humbucking pickup features a modern design and is commonly seen on high-end bass guitars. It utilizes alnico V magnets and a bi-pole layout with two poles per string. Essentially, it combines the characteristics of two jazz bass style pickups within a single cover. These pickups are known for delivering enhanced high frequencies, deep low end tones, and a clean midrange. They are particularly suitable for split-coil installation, as they do not suffer from the gain loss typically associated with series pickups. Additionally, they come with black plastic covers and exposed pole pieces.

These 5-string pickups offer hum-cancelling capabilities, come with black covers, and feature parallel winding which allows for coil tapping if desired. They are designed as a replacement for Bartolini P2 pickups, with dimensions of 1.25" x 4.25".
